Congratulations on the birth of your neice ( or is it nephew), Michell That wouldn't have been much fun a precipitate labour- fast and furious.

Congrats Linda!
Lucky (((((HUGS))))). You wonder why some people are in customer service jobs when they have no compassion or can’t be bothered to assist you.
Aunty Michell, congratulations to you and best wishes to the proud parents and the ‘speedy’ baby .

Congratulations Aunty Michell! My DD no 2 was impatient to be born, ended up with only nurses there, too quick for my doctor or the resident obstetrician. She is still very impatient!
We will be off to DM's soon to meet up with my 2 cousins, can't remember how long since we saw each other- at least 25 years! Their DM( my DM's only sister) was one of my favourite Aunties- a beautiful kind, gentle lady. So good at crafts too. I am taking a satin heart shaped hanky sachet to show cousins, Aunty Meg made it and sent it to me for my 21st- I thought it was the prettiest thing I had ever seen. I used to also get a regular parcel of dresses, tops/ shorts- she made all of her girl's clothes. She also crocheted me a "chook" teacosy- I must put a pic up for all to see- I wanted a brown one, and I have brought home another one (white) from DM's that my DGM made years ago.
We are all going to the chinese buffet at the club for lunch. It is going to be a hot day here and still so humid. Someone rang radio station today to find out if daylight saving was finishing soon- and was told not until 4th April!
Any sign of rain over there yet, Linda? Would you settle for heaps of humidity instead?
Have a happy day everyone, stay cool.

We have more than enough humidity, thanks Sandy! It's only 20 at the moment (just gone 7am here) but the humidity is 92% Probably as close as we are going to get to rain!!

Very tired this morning after a late night at my button club. We are having a country display day on May 1 outside Melbourne so I will post once I have all the details. We had a very enjoyable meeting, 26 in attendance and studying the subject of 'learning to date buttons'. There were some lovely buttons that members brought to show. A great night of fun, friendship and learning.
Taking it easy today, I may go out this afternoon to look for something to wear to my sister's 50th which is this weekend.
Still very hot here but we are expecting a cool change tomorrow.
